Sanction is a set of “Universal Rules for Challenge-driven Games,” a collection of coherent game mechanics for one-off or serialised roleplaying. Sanction is stripped down, flexible, and intended to be hacked to suit your needs. Sanction isn’t about covering every outcome from the outset but providing you with the mechanics, tools, and guidance to introduce rules when needed.

Sanction uses the same rules as award-winning TTRPG The Dee Sanction.

What’s The Agency?

You’re failures. You messed up, someone died, or some information escaped you. Something went wrong. But you didn’t have the good grace to die or to resign, and the thing about belonging to the Business is… you can’t really be fired. Instead, small groups of you are packed off to offices around the country, and you’re left to sift through the infinite slush of “intelligence” data. Working on the top floor of an office building for a fictional company, you hope, desperately hope, that you might find some way to redeem yourself.

Within the Shattered Dominion's bounds, the great conflict's shadows blanket the land like a suffocating smoke. Community Content

Sanction’s Community Created Content licence opens up the opportunity to use the system and the hacking guidance in the Core Rules to create your own Genre Setups and adventures — whether for free or to sell — Wrought By Sanction. More details will follow on how you can do this and support the expansion of the Sanction community.

Printed Edition

Sanction will be available in a printed softcover and casebound edition from All Rolled Up. We currently have no plans for a Print On Demand edition of the Core Rules.
